About the Salon of Art

The St. George Salon of Art, LLC has been in business since 1998 with web presence added in 2001. The artwork and photography shown on our sites are copyright protected by the artist and The St. George Salon of Art, LLC.  Doreen sold her artwork through galleries and art shows prior to becoming a gallery owner in 1998 where the St. George Salon of Art was established with a physical presence in California’s Gold Country in the Sierra Foothills.  After the sudden loss of her friend, mentor and business partner; and new ownership of the building her gallery was in, Doreen closed the physical gallery.  In 2009, she pushed the Salon of Art in the direction of a full-time successful web-based business.

The artist has well over 10,000 images and over 30-years experience in creating and selling art.  The artist’s biography is available online, along with examples of her exhibit history and award listing.

About the Artist

Doreen sold her artwork through galleries and art shows for ten years, owning her own gallery and hosting art events for six of those years.   In 2006, the artist took a hiatus from the hustle of gallery showings and simply enjoyed the creative mediums she works in, further building her portfolio and as she loves to do, experimenting in new ways to be creative …

    • Where did you buy it? the Story Teller is a digital wash and manipulation from a photograph I took in Kauai back in the early 90′s of a hula dancer. Originally, this artwork was available only as a signed Limited Edition print in two sizes. Today that piece has been released to Open Edition production on prints and products.
